Thanksgiving Eve!

Last night we made pies so the oven would be free all day for our giant turkey! They all took longer to bake than expected... so I was up LATE!

We ended up with 4 pies for 10 people. (Originally I planned three but my Gma wanted to make my great grandma Boo's chocolate pie...) I think we'll freeze one of my pumpkin pies for the end of the holiday season!

I'm also making whipped cream from scratch! (Thanks to Aunt Sally for passing along a few hints for it!)

Monday night (in addition to being the weirdest night, ever) I got three terrible hours of sleep. This morning I had a flight at 5:30am, so when it hit 2am Ben and I just decided to stay up.

I was at my gate by 4:30am. =/ (I also went into the men's bathroom on accident... possible sleep deprivation issue?)

Needless to say it's been a long day. But my flights went amazingly well, I actually arrived EARLY.
