So. I haven't posted in a while! I've been BUSY since heading back to school.

But, Thanksgiving wrapped up nicely:

The food was great and everything even finished up around the same time so nothing was cold!
(The only thing I'm sad about is that I left the day after and not only didn't get left overs... but only got a tiny bit of the pies I made!!!)

Back to current events:
I've been working on the 'Ad Project'. Basically, it's a three week intensely exhausting, group project, right of passage for all Ad Photo students.

Just today I did 10 straight hours of work on it.

Clearly:

In other news...
I finally got a big girl bed! (and a lot of new floor space!)

Thanksgiving Eve!

Last night we made pies so the oven would be free all day for our giant turkey! They all took longer to bake than expected... so I was up LATE!

Ready to be baked, homemade, crusts! (2 regular crusts & 2 graham cracker crusts)

Preparing one of the Graham Cracker crusts =)

Stirring up the pumpkin pies!

One of my finished pumpkin pies!

Really bad cell phone pic of my pecan pie (made from my great grandmother's recipe!)
We ended up with 4 pies for 10 people. (Originally I planned three but my Gma wanted to make my great grandma Boo's chocolate pie...) I think we'll freeze one of my pumpkin pies for the end of the holiday season!

I'm also making whipped cream from scratch! (Thanks to Aunt Sally for passing along a few hints for it!)

Today's Mission? This giant turkey!

Also, I'd like to note my dad's FIVE strikes in a row bowling yesterday!

Pretty amazing!

Monday night (in addition to being the weirdest night, ever) I got three terrible hours of sleep. This morning I had a flight at 5:30am, so when it hit 2am Ben and I just decided to stay up.

I was at my gate by 4:30am. =/ (I also went into the men's bathroom on accident... possible sleep deprivation issue?)

Needless to say it's been a long day. But my flights went amazingly well, I actually arrived EARLY.

My mountains in the distance!

=)

Miss ben and my kitty already.
However...

I took a nap with my mommy's new kitty. She still need a name! Name contest anyone?

P.S. My new bedroom has a YELLOW wall <3

Clyde and I are taking advantage of what might be the last sunshine for a while.
He's enjoying it to the fullest, complete with tiny cat snores.

So cute.
