Monday night (in addition to being the weirdest night, ever) I got three terrible hours of sleep. This morning I had a flight at 5:30am, so when it hit 2am Ben and I just decided to stay up.

I was at my gate by 4:30am. =/ (I also went into the men's bathroom on accident... possible sleep deprivation issue?)

Needless to say it's been a long day. But my flights went amazingly well, I actually arrived EARLY.

Good morning. haha.

I would say "Happy Halloween!" but I'm pretty late posting this, and since all the stores have already moved on to Christmas I guess I've missed the boat on that one!

It was a good night, a little drama, but all's well that ends well right? There were some great costumes, a lot of music playing, and some royal trashing of Ben's house. (Quick clean up in the morning, but leaving powdered sugar on the counter was a bad idea!)


Pumpkin Cupcakes I made for Ben's Halloween Party. Topped with fondant pumpkins, devils, "Trick or Treat," "Boo," some random patterns, and Halloween sprinkles! (Also note the vintage party tray thing I got a while back! Love it.)

Hope everyone's Halloween was excellent and you're still getting he sugar tooth sweaters of your teeth!

Invisible Children's Roadies came to RIT for a screening. They all seemed really young this year, but just as knowledgeable and helpful as usual.

On the tour they had been showing The Rescue (IC's big, international event in April) but since everyone at our screening had been to the event we got to watch this amazing movie about Natalie. She was an intern for IC and was the one in charge of the Chicago rescue. Really inspirational and awesome to see some of the behind the scene stuff. Our turn out was kinda low, considering it was the Friday before Halloween and the night of a hockey game.

A boy from Nigeria came to the screening and we had a long discussion. It was incredibly interesting. Hopefully we'll here more from him in the future!

All in all it was good, as always.




They drove up and parked in the middle of campus. RIDICULOUS. It made me laugh.
